3rd BSS Art Night

Bukit Sunrise School had its third Art Night on 14 February 2020. This annual school event is aimed at raising funds to support a charitable organization or civic group which the children have chosen. Just like last year, the primary four students were assigned to find the organization and to present it to the other students. This year the students chose to help Yayasan Peduli Kanker Anak Bali.

Yayasan Peduli Kanker Anak Bali located at jl. Flores VII island no. 3 is a foundation for children suffering from cancer. The facilities provided are in the form of: accommodation, educational facilities, and transportation for those currently in treatment and care at the hospital.

The primary and preschool students prepared art works during their Art class and the best ones were either sold or auctioned during the Art Night. The proceeds from the sale and auction of the art works were given to Yayasan Peduli Kanker Anak Bali. This year we a total of Rp. 22.475.167. The breakdown is below :

Art works sale : Rp 4.020.000

Ticket Sales : Rp 2.266.165

Eart Savers club : Rp. 130.000

Charity box : Rp 6.444.000

SCB Preschool : Rp. 550.000

Auction : Rp 8.050.000

Bukit Sunrise School : Rp 1.015.002

Total is Rp. 22.475.167
